Nick Academy is a mobile based app that combines a wide range of educational technology (EdTech) activities with entertainment for children. The app is a collection of mini games created within BETA studio. The concept art of the platform is based on the Nickelodeon brand 'The Loud House'.
In order to engage children with math, we had to create an attractive and exciting environment. BOK, the main character teaches children basic arithmetic using trial-and-error puzzles.
More than 80 levels of different arithmetic methods using variety of game mechanisms. Over 5,000 kids played BOK on mobile devices since its launch.
This project incorporated artists, animators, UX & sound designers, frontend and backend developers, content writers and pedagogy experts.
